Lauren is a dedicated and compassionate lifelong learner with years of experience in holistic health practices. Lauren is committed to promoting wellness and improving the quality of life for patients through tailored treatments that address physical, mental and emotional well-being. Lauren combines acupuncture with a strong emphasis on patient education and individualized care. Lauren first discovered acupuncture during her own health journey. She tried the conventional approaches for sleep and mood but not only did she not get relief but also had unpleasant side effects from the medication. She visited a functional medicine doctor with some benefit but it was acupuncture that made the greatest impact. She started feeling better quickly and was eventually off all medications. Lauren decided to attend acupuncture college and practiced massage while putting herself through school. She has extensive experience caring for patients with massage therapy and Reiki but is now focusing on acupuncture, herbal therapy and Advanced Allergy Therapeutics. Lauren received her acupuncture and oriental medicine training at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine graduating Magna Cum Laude. She is NCCAOM Certified and Licensed in Michigan. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys hiking, yoga, sailing, travel, and poetry.

Stephen Durell has been practicing Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine since 2000. He is a graduate of Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine and is National Board Certified in Acupuncture (NCCAOM). He helps people achieve a wide variety of health goals and with pain management.
